Pricing
Pay for compute. Never for tokens.
Plans include usage credit in dollars, then per-second usage. Bring your own model key: tokens are tracked for your budget and never marked up. No seat pricing, because agents are not seats.
Early access pricing; subject to change.

Usage
One credit pool, billed per second.

Questions
Do you charge for model tokens?
No. You bring your own model key from any provider or OpenRouter, and pay that provider directly. Heighliner counts and prices tokens so your budget works, but never marks them up.
What happens when my budget runs out?
No new lease is granted, so the next model or tool call returns a budget_exhausted error that explains the fix. Agents pause and are never deleted, and they resume when you raise the cap.
Does unused credit roll over?
No. The plan's credit is one pool of dollars that every meter draws from each month. Usage beyond it is billed at the same rates, except on Free, where agents pause at $5.
Is an idle agent billed?
Active vCPU is not billed while an agent waits on a model, and sleeping agents between runs do not hold a machine. Their snapshots still count as storage.
Are these prices final?
No. This is early access pricing and it may change before general availability.
